my son Lee made this amazing pirate island playmat for his baby sister, obviously he has inherited my affinity for felt ;) what a lucky little girl Lils is, to have such a great big brother.

oh yes, Christmas decorating/crafting is getting serious here at chez fly....I've broken out the glitter...no telling what's going to succumb to my glitter mad hands next...the cats are hiding, i tell you!

a Christmas gift I made for Lils...to be filled with soft farm animals that I found for CHEAP at Ikea...I used this tutorial from UK Lass in US...one gift down and ...all the rest to go!

my girls love the calendar I made with Homemade by Jill's Sew Along

and lucky Lils got to enjoy German chocolate (at 6:30 in the morning) that was hidden in the first pocket of a beautiful advent calendar sent by her daddy's best friend all the way from Germany!
